JustinMorneau Posted July 12, 2009 Share Posted July 12, 2009 It seems that (for every pitcher, even those with 4 seam fastball rating and control rating of 90+) the 4 seam fastballs end up in a wild pitch at at least 20 - 30% of the time. I never get a wild pitch with any other pitches, just the four seam fb.. is this just me or is it happenig for other ppl as well? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mopex Posted July 12, 2009 Share Posted July 12, 2009 I'm also getting a ridiculous amount of wild pitches, and I have games where the catcher just can't seem to catch a breaking ball. It feels like I have a staff of knuckeballers and a catcher that has no idea how to catch them. I found after the patch I had issues of locating fastballs, there's a setting you can adjust to fix that. sorry I don't remember what setting it was. hackman2007 Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 This doesn't happen to me. I have problems locating curveballs and cut fastballs occasionally, but I think that's just me.
