DaveCenker Posted March 17, 2010 Share Posted March 17, 2010 In my past experience with The Show, there are 3 modes of fielding ... automatic where everything is done for you, assisted where you have to get the fielder in the general vicinity in order to catch the ball, and manual where you need to place the fielder exactly in the correct position in order to field the ball properly. It appears as though MLB 2K 10 utilizes the assisted mode. However, I wondered whether there was a way to increase the margin of error? It seems like there is not much skill required to field a ball in the outfield. If I get my outfielder within 25 ft of the ball, it seems like it locks in and makes the play. I would like to be able to exert a little more control over the fielder even if it means a higher probability of not fielding the ball cleanly. Is this possible?
