Simulating Fielding?

I always used Assisted Fielding in MVP, but I find that I can do the fielding in 2K10 without much trouble. The AI gives you a nice boost in the right direction.

You can fool the CPU into fielding for you....For example, on a ball hit to centerfield, press the "A" button (on the 360 controller) and manual fielding goes to the next closest fielder (left or right fielder). Then the AI takes over and the centerfielder makes the catch or chases down the hit.

Most hits to the infield occur so quickly it isn't as important to transfer manual fielding to another player...The CPU normally fields the ball, if possible.

Regardless, you still must throw the ball.

I don't know what coincides with the "A" button on other controllers.

Hope this is clear enough. Once you get the hang of it, it is pretty reliable.
