He comes up the next time, and blasts it over the CF head and it rolls up the hill and around and he ends up with an inside the parker (when I saw it start to rattle around I had to try for it). He comes up to bat the next time, and I am understandably perplexed at the fact that it says he's 1-3 with 1 HR. How's that? So I check the inning by inning breakdown. Apparently, the scorer was confused. The exact line was, "Gomes grounds into a double play. Gomes scores." Now THAT takes talent. Here I was, all impressed by his inside the parker. This man can hit into a double play and score (especially considering the bases were empty since he was leading off). Clearly, the Astro's have the best scorekeeper in the game.
