What I need for each team is the corresponding present-day team. For instance, the Brooklyn Dodgers correspond to the Los Angeles Dodgers of today. The Altoona team could correspond to the minor league Altoona team in MVP Baseball. So if anyone can help me out with a few of them or all of them :twisted:, I'd appreciate it. I have a book, The Ball Clubs by Dewey & Acocella, that has every franchise officially recognized by Major League Baseball. I can post the info here or save it to a MS Word or MS Excel file. Let me know which you prefer. It will take me a day or two to complete the list. I'm almost done but I see krawhitham beat me to it. I have it in Excel format and it's organized by franchise. Baltimore Orioles 1954-pres < St. Louis Browns 1902-1953 < Milwaukee Brewers 1901 St. Louis Cardinals were called the St. Louis Browns 1883-1898 New York Yankees 1913-pres < NY Highlanders 1903-1912 < Baltimore Orioles 1901-1902 Texas Rangers 1972-pres < Washington Senators 1961-1971 Minnesota Twins 1961-pres < Washington Senators 1901-1960 Milwaukee Brewers 1970-pres < Seattle Pilots 1969 Mr. Lahman associates the various names a franchise has used to the current team ID.
