The Yankees were the only team that I could trade Kotsay to, since they were the only team that needed a CF and could afford him. I wanted to cut my salary because it's so hard to make money in the first season of the ownder mode. I'm 5 - 3 My last game, I bet the Blue Jays, 6 - 3. Danny Haren was pitching, he gave up one run and struck three batters, no walks. Bubba Crosby filled in nicely for a tired Charles Thomas. He went 2 for 4, 2 doubles and 2 rbis. Bobby Crosby, on the other hand, went 0 for 4, 3 strikeouts and 1 groundout. Richardo Rincon screwed up in the 8th, he gave up two runs. Brandon League got his second save, but he had to get out of bases loaded jam. Scott Hatteberg hit a towering shot to give the A's, a 3 run lead in the 7th, it was 0-1, previously.
