UncleRay Posted March 21, 2005 Share Posted March 21, 2005 Its for the pc version.. Situation: Runner on first...2 outs.... Current batter hits the ball in the infield.. Runner on first advances to 2 Shortstop throws it to 2nd base(attempting double play) The runner on first that was advancing to second slides and hits the second baseman... I get this all the time: The runner who mades the slide (to avoid a dp) almost always gets injured. The thing is in the game the slide looks like it injured the second basemen( he even tripped). Shouldnt the SECOND BASEMEN who got hit hard the most get injured? The baserunner is the only one who always get injured. Confused here(its a bug obviously). During any collision type situation you can seldom tell who is going to come up injured or not simply by the appearance of the collision. Often times the person that seemed to have the least impact during the collision is the one that comes up injured like having a torn muscle/twisted ankle etc or something like that. Now you are right in that it happens too often in MVP but that is what the Injury Sliders are for.
