AcousticNut Posted March 30, 2005 Share Posted March 30, 2005 I had my sliders very close to perfect before the new patch came out. I'm starting at square 1 now because it does seem to make gameplay changes. My two games prior to the patch release were loses to the DBacks and Devil Rays with scores in the 4-2 range. After installing patch 2 I beat the Phils in Extra Innings 7-6, and stomped the Pads 9-1. I'm hitting a lot more into the gap and the outfielders seem to me to be slower, allowing more doubles and even some triples (I've had 1 triple per game since installing the patch). I'm sure that a little bit of improvement can be attributed to the stuttering ceasing on the pitching / hitting screen, but I'm sensing gameplay changes as well. I jumped from All-Star to MVP on default sliders and beat my AAA team 3-1 last night, so I'm going to start playing some major league teams and adjusting the sliders accordingly. I was just about to release my old slider settings, but now think that they'll be several weeks off as I work on a new set. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
