It won't be too much longer before I release this update to Geomlb87's 1997 Ken Griffey Jr.'s total conversion mod. I am shooting for some time in March. After I finish the 4-remaining team facepacks, I will be moving on to the 61, 1998 rookies that are currently in the free agent bin to their respective AAA teams for the franchise mode version of the roster. Then, since I finally figured out how to correct the skin tone for the non-Caucasian players, I will be doing that also, then release the updated roster along with over 500 re-numbered real player faces. WOW! This is incredible! With what Kccitystar is doing and now this, MVP Baseball 2005 may live on for another 20 years. Question, is any of this possible for MLB 2k12? Gary Thorne Steve Phillips John Kruk I really can't stand how the older, original players name is always said when the pitcher is warming up or the batter is coming to the plate in that game.

Updated 2/17/26 3 more teams completed 18/22 Total number of faces added and numbered = 457 Batting stances, throwing hand or batting side corrected = 98

Coming along well, I completed 4 more teams adding the face packs for the Cubs, Mets, Indians & Braves provided by Hanny. I also now have corrected either the batting stance or throwing hand for 46 players. Basically, what I am doing, besides adding in 383 faces thus far, is polishing and cleaning up the roster you provided for your mod, and also updating some ratings & overalls for the majority of star players. I am just adding on to all the hard work you already done naming the players for all 30 teams, setting batting orders and rotations and all the other wonderful work you did to create this mod.

You don't, just download 5.0 or whatever version you wish to use and install that.

I have received all the needed permissions I was looking for. Thank you!! Here are a couple of previews of the many new faces for this mod I have been collecting the past couple of weeks. Again, Disclaimer: These are not my faces, and I had no job in the creation of them. Currently I am still working on the 1997 schedule and continue to update this mods franchise roster, acquiring new faces and still adding in player faces from the 22 face packs by Hanny. 11 of 22 complete. I would love to get additional help from other modders on creating stadiums for the 1997 season or just updating advertisements from this time period. Some new portraits would be useful as well.

Yes, probably if someone just wants to play a quick game and can have quick access to these players to add them to teams if they choose. But the way I play, I always have to play franchise mode or a season mode for any sports game I play, or it's just not fun to me. So, what I will do is create two updated versions of your roster. One with the players in free agency as you had them, And two, a franchise roster with which turned out to be many more players than I first thought, (52) players in all, and put them all on their respective minor league teams, so they can come up through the system as a franchise progresses.

It has been a week since I posted something here. So, here are a couple of screenshots of circa late 90's updated faces I have been gathering from outside sources. These are courtesy of an old Operation Sports friend and another NLSC buddy of mine. Disclaimer: Just as before, these are not my faces, and I take no credit in the creation of them. But I have received permission to post these screenshots here and also these and many other new faces will be included with this updated roster & faces update I plan to release. I am still chugging along adding faces and updating player ratings. Question for Geomlb87, the players who are in free agency, who will not appear in the majors until 1998-1999, like Adrian Beltré, Carlos Beltrán to name a couple, should I leave them as free agents or should I put them on their AAA teams? (25-30) players.
