@Stu Anderson- thanks for the offer but it's all good now @pena1- ah I see! Because I imported all the dds files using Cyber Faces Converter and nba mod tool and worked fine, I didnt think Id need to save but then after using 3dmodtool and actually hitting 'save', it worked! Strange though, how all the other textures work fine without actually 'saving', but the hat needs to :S thanks for the help!

ok a quick update: i played my games with the hat that won't change except incidentally, i was going through a replay of a play in the game but i noticed that from far the hat is the original hat, but when I zoom in real close to the player's head, the hat is the one i changed. when i zoom back out, it's back to the original. anyone know why?

the away uniform. i opened up uniform_sdp_away.iff, went through the textures and replaced the blue hat texture file with a black hat texture file from uniform_chw_home.iff, so its black, but no changes appear in the game. all the other changes i made to the uniform went through tough.

Hello I'm trying to mod my uniform a bit and I'm stuck at the hat color. Everything else worked fine, I used roster editor as well to change team color, etc, but the hat color remains the same. I wanted my hat to be black so I got the hat texture file from Chicago White Sox and imported that over my current hat texture, but in game I still have a blue hat. I used search, I went through uni tut guide but I'm still stuck. Help is appreicated.

As title suggests, how do I do this? I tried fiddling around with modtool 198 but can't seem to figure it out. Could I get some help on taking a 2k11 uniform file and using it for mlb 2k12? thanks in advance.
