stecropper Posted May 9, 2005 Share Posted May 9, 2005 miz67, MVPEdit can create an MVPEdit roster file (i.e. .mbe type file) by importing from the games .dat files found in the data/database directory ---- it can also read other MVPEdit created roster files that are .mbe type files ....... it doesn't/can't open any game .sav type files. So if the file your downloaded is not an MVPEdit type .mbe file or can not be installed in the game to become the games default .dat roster file then you can't open/use it with MVPEdit. txtraider05 Posted May 9, 2005 Share Posted May 9, 2005 I couldnt find this in any forum but I might have missed it. I DL the roster set called real baseball 2005. I DL it because it had the most recent date next to it but Im not sure who it was from. I put it into MVP edit and put it into the game and overwrote the file in the database folder that was already there. It worked fine but it put the legends and the hero teams in the free agent list...luckily i backed up the original but did anyone else have this problem. is it the file or the editor its self? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
