I just noticed a lot of thing that could be fixed and since Fuzzone said he was an AL guy I figured what the hell. I saw over half of the 1990 Reds games in person; I was even in Houston for the season opener. If the Fuzz wants this removed I will do so I started from scratch by importing Lahman’s 1990 Reds team to the Louisville Bats. 40 Players played on the reds that year so I had to delete 15 players The reds also only had 4 starting pitchers and three other relievers that split the other spot in the rotation. I choose Rick Mahler as the fifth starter. Mvpedit does a great job importing everyday players but is a little weak on determining abilities for bench/utility/platoon players. I had to tweak some of the abilities for those players. I also had to tweak the pitchers. I increased Mahler stamina (now 5th starter, he started 16 that season) Charlton, and Scudder because they all started at least 10 games and could go deep in a game if needed. How it differs from Fuzzone’s 1990 Reds 1) Corrected pitches for most of the pitchers (all but two) 2) Correct skin color for players (I think unless I screwed something up) 3) Some of the body type and hair color were updated 4) Photo IDs entered 5) Linked faces (needs a lot of work if you see a closer match let me know) 6) Fixed lineups 7) Fixed rotation Tweaked most of the pitchers (stamina not correct from import) 9) Tweaked Pitcher’s running speed (set to ZERO from import) 10) Entered correct salaries (what a joke 15 were making less the MIN for today’s standards, they are listed as 100) 11) Increased contract length to 7 years 12) Fixed Griffey SR the import had like 30 for contact and 10 for power but he hit .300 on the season with a little POP What still needs done (I may never get to these BTW) 1) Finish body types 2) Three more portraits 3) Better portraits for some of the currents ones 4) Batting Stances (any help is welcome) 5) Pitching deliveries (any help is welcome) 6) Hair Color 7) Hot/Cold Zones (any help is welcome) FACES hint hint. Someone want to do faces for these guys? I linked faces already in the game to the players. I might have done a real shitty job. If you find a better match drop me a line. Install Fuzzone’s 1990 package then install this .met over his that way you get the logos. I love the fact that you stepped up to the plate and i would even love it if you uploaded your 1990's reds and portraits to mvpmods.com. Faces(not player portraits) will be available for the 1961 yankees---thanks to stecropper. portraits set for the 64 colts45's, 27 yankees, and also 69 seattle pilots will be available very soon by yankees763. You know the reds a whole lot better than me.
