Hey I tried downloading the ultimate roster but I coudln't get it to work. At least when I checked the rosters my team, the 'stros, had guys like Burba and Redding etc.

Can someone tell me how to get a roster downloaded from this site and how to install it to my MVP game. I followed the readme exactly but it never changed my rosters.

That's weird. Did you put all the .dat-files in your mvp2005/data/database folder? Don't know if it matters in this case but do you have the EA patch installed?

I tried it both ways. First I just tried the update. That didn't work, so I got the patch from Easports.com and put it there again and it didn't work.

I also tried dling the EAsports roster but it wouldn't install b/c I already had the other files put there from the roster update.

Also first time I misread the readme and put it in mvp2005/data

I then put it in the .../database folder but no go.

Maybe I have to reinstall the entire game? Also, should i put the easports patch on or not if I do reinstall. Also in which order do I install (patch, roster update)

Re-install > patch > rosters

Maybe if you try exporting the files roster files from MVPedit into your data/database folder? Download MVPedit at http://www.glass4.com/index.asp and open up the .mbe-file included in the Ultimate Rosters.zip download. Click "Export" and choose your destination folder (mvp2005/data/database). Hit "Yes" when you're asked to overwrite the existing files. Load the game and see if it worked...
