LeVeRRe Posted July 11, 2004 Share Posted July 11, 2004 Hey everyone, In this thread I would ask anyone who wishes to help me with updates to my portrait set to do so here in this thread. Feel free to post any links to pictures that I have not included in the set and if they are of the quality to be included I will create the .fsh files and include them in an update. You can also e-mail the pics, however please send me an e-mail outlining which pics you have and are sending before so that I can respond to it if I still need them. I use hotmail, and my storage limit is limited, so I do not want to fill it up with a load of pictures at one time. Links would be prefered. Posted July 11, 2004 Share Posted July 11, 2004 The remaining five pirates, Javier Guzman, Matt Capps, Nyjer Morgan, Blair Johnson and Tom Gorzelanny can be found at http://www.hickorycrawdads.com. the photos are pretty big once the are double-clicked and have hickory scripted across the top but with photoshop that can be cleaned up. Seems as if they don't care much about the team :? Anyway, a question: Where the players are listed as "Same", does that mean you're using the default portraits from EA? If so, I have some much better photos for those listed as such. I can post them if needed. A few answers to your questions; 1) these sets are based off of GeForce's TotalMinor's v4.0 and those are as of opening day. trades after that are not reflected in the rosters or my sets. As a result people like Carlos Beltran is still a Royal at the time in the roster and set, and the portrait will reflect that. I appreciate the help with the new pics, but I will not be releasing an update for current rosters etc, as it would take a great deal of my time (which I'm not willing to give at this time as I'm burned out from the 90 teams already finished.) 2) When the spreadsheet says "same" yes it does mean that I have opted to use the default portrait in the game either because it was of a high quality already or I was unable to find a better portrait to use. If you find better ones I will be more than happy to include them in an update. 3) the Felix Diaz and Ryan Meaux issue will be rectified in the next update. my bad on that one. LeVeRRe Posted July 16, 2004 Author Share Posted July 16, 2004 Hey all, Thanks for the help so far with the pictures. Many of them were used in the first update which I'm uploading as I write this. There are 35 players either new or replaced with better versions, as well as 11 players which will be new to TotalMinors v4.0, GeForce is adding a few that have seen major league time this year. They are in this update as well, but you won't be able to see those ones til you get the new roster, which i hear will be soon. Enjoy this. On a side note, please keep the pics coming if you want updates done. I am taking a small break away from portrait editting as I am burnt out, and I feel that I have made a large enough base that people should be happy for the most part. I will continue to update as more pics become available, but it may not be as consistent as it has been in the past. I want to thank you all for your support and kind words, and keep your eyes peeled, I'm not done, just takin a break for a week or so. Krawhitham has offered his help setting up an FTP for me, which will help. So it should be up available in the near future. Also, TotalMinors v4 will be released with my numbers already in it, GeForce was kind enough to do this for me and everyone.
