You have to decompress it (utility found here at MVPmods), and then edit it with wordpad or TextPad (Note Pad doesn't work)...save it and then recompress it. spitoon Posted July 22, 2004 Share Posted July 22, 2004 notepad doesnt work, no wonder i've messed up everything ive tried to edit with notepad The file is simply too big for NotePad to deal with...you need to use Word Pad, or even better, a program called TextPad...try a google search and you will find it...when you open the datafile with TextPad it is presented in a little nicer format, a bit easier to read.
