sdoyle7798 Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Lately when I burn a cd, no matter if I use Roxio or Windows Media Player, I get what sounds liek static near the end of my first track, and completely through teh second track. Also my cd player has trouble finding these tracks. I have no problems burning data or even MP3's to a disc. Just wav files, and WMA files. I have a Gateway 500L w/ XP home My CD/DVD burner isHLDS 32X/10X/40X CD/RW - 16X DVD Combo Drive [Part #5502414]. evil1182 Posted December 6, 2006 Share Posted December 6, 2006 Back in the day I had problems with Roxio and my burner, I upgraded the Firmware and switched to Nero and never had any problems.
