The guys an idiot, and as much talent as he has, was never a leader in Philly. The guy is classless. As I am writing this, I am watching Detroit RedWings captain get his number retired.He is a class athlete. A.I. can rot in Denver for all I care. he will never get a ring. I used to love the NBA. I loved the NBA of the late 80s and early 90s...I have no respect for todays NBA...they come across as a bunch of thugs... Although I enjoy watching Duane Wade, Yao Ming, and Shaq. kgbaseball Posted January 3, 2007 Share Posted January 3, 2007 There are an infinite amount of things that are wrong with the NBA, but AI isn't anywhere near the top of that list. It's not in any way his fault that the management in Philly never put one good basketball player around him. He carried the Finals team with 11 or 12 awful surrounding players. He plays hard game in and game out. Sure, the whole practice thing a couple years ago didn't help his cause, but he'd be welcome on any team because he's a great player.
