windows officiall dies tonite from my pc

windows is officially getting the axe from my pc tonite and im making the jump to linux goodbye spyware, malware and whatever else windows lets through. the only use it will get is on my second hd to play mvp (cant be without that of course)

I have four computers in this room... Vista, Xp, OS10.4 and OS9.2

I can honestly say I like my Vista box the best. You can simply do more. More compatibility (windows vs Mac vs Linux), more options, more tinkering. And as far as security, Vista is touted even by competing vendors as the safest software available.

Most security firms consider Linux the least secure of all the major operating systems.

As for spyware... havn't had ANY on my vista box yet.

I wonder if the old "interactive" trick works on Vista...that was about as much of a super-user you could get in XP.
