Guest
I was thinking about doing a roster mod where I recreate the rosters from the 1998 season. This dawned on me just by thinking about the baseball Renaissance that occured that year, the Chase to 61, the 114 wins by the Yankees, the cinderella Padres, etc. I was going to do this roster mod, but there wouldn't be any audio/face mods for players I have to recreate, so if anybody is on board for this, please let me know. Also, any input for opinions as to whether this would be a good idea or not are greatly appreciated, so just let me know. Thanks!
kgree492
I had mentioned this idea about a month ago, and it sounded like there was some interest, but there has been nothing done about it as far as I know. I think it's a great idea!

Actually, the majority of the faces / audios are already in the game since many of the players from 1998 are still playing. You would just have to look at the default rosters with MVPEdit, note the face / audio number being used for those players who were playing in 1998 and assign them to the players in your rosters. Precisely. It's just going to be the players who aren't in the game anymore (i.e. Mark McGwire).
Jim825
Precisely. It's just going to be the players who aren't in the game anymore (i.e. Mark McGwire). A number of classic faces (like McGwire) have been created. You just have to search the downloads section. You could also look at the latest version of Total Classics (Total Classics 7). Open up those rosters in MVPEdit and search for the players you are interested in and you will be able to see quickly whether they have specific faces or if generic faces are assigned. Guest
I'm giving it a try, but I'm having no luck with the audio. I'm gonna just change the faces around and put pictures up, but if someone would like to do audio, that'd be cool.
