but do some of the things he does, loading his arm, keeping closed until the last possible second, stride out as far as you can comfortably, and make sure your release point is the same every time.

EDIT: I cant stress this enough, make sure to use your hips, start to twist em a when your foot almost touches the ground, then, twist your hips hard and use the rest of your body above your hips as a slingshot.

Piece that together, and you've got pretty solid mechanics. Another thing, repeat your mechanics. make sure you do the same thing every time for every pitch.
