sureshot25 Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 Hey guys, I've encountered a crashing problem in my season, so hopefully someone can help me out. I didn't play this game last year, so it took a little bit to remember how to install everything. I hate to come back and nag people about a crashing problem. The crashing occurs in game 2 of my season against the Rays. It usually varies when it crashes, but it might happen when the game is about to start right after it loads, as I'm facing a hitter, or fielding a grounder. Basically it always crashed in the Top of the 1st. Anyway, heres the stuff I installed: MVP Baseball 2005 MVP Edit TiT 2.0.5 MVP 08 Mod KG's Rosters 7.0 Plus Then I installed a few misc. mods: Trues' MLB Ball (Clean) Base Mod by compmaniac (Chose Clean Bases) Trues' NESN overlay 2009 schedule Bodhiball's McCoy Stadium I made a few roster changes on the Red Sox, and edited some stuff (glove color, bat color, etc) on some players. Then I used the Schedule Updater (forgot by who) to change the year to 2009. I thought that might have been crashing it, so I started a new dynasty and didn't use the Schedule Updater, but it still crashed in game 2. Any help would greatly be appreciated, I really want to get back into this game. Thanks. emath2432 Posted April 9, 2009 Share Posted April 9, 2009 I was having a lot of crash issues a few days back. It was a cyber face issue. Would not crash until that players face was on the screen. Since you seem to have not installed any faces, I am not sure. Sorry i can't be of more help. Check and see if all files inside the models.big are compressed. If you dont have a models.big to match the roster plus then that may be the cause of your problems. Maestro23 Posted April 9, 2009 Share Posted April 9, 2009 You've got so many mods installed, it will be hard to tell. Do you know after what mod you started crashing? Also, check the Rays Roster, and make sure all roster spots are filled in the lineup(s). Could a models.big issue as well. Maestro23 - Yea, I figured someone would point out I have a lot of mods installed. I tend to go overboard lol. Unfortunately I don't remember when the crashing occurred. KG - That is the one I have installed. I'll have another look at this tomorrow, gotta be in work for 6am. Thanks for the help guys.
