santini88 Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 I'm getting killed by "small ball". I just played a game where the Pirates got 18 hits/ 16 runs on 2 errors. One of the worst fielding teams in Major League Baseball performed one great "WEB Gem " after another, while I couldn't run down a simple texas league blooper. I had so many balls in my face I felt like Paris Hilton on a Friday night....but I couldn't catch any. But I'm hanging in there at .500 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I'm hanging in there at .500 The pirates beat me 3 out of 4 in my season opener with them, so don't feel too bad. They even shut me out on opening day!!! My team is currently 12-13, every time I get to .500 i lose a game and fall back behind. I got my bullpen issues sorted out now though so it should get going a little smoother. AltruiSisu Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 I'm getting killed by "small ball". you're certainly not alone, santini. the only thing that really bothers me, however, is when it happens because fly balls are going through my outfielder's gloves and bodies for automatic triples and ItP-home runs. i'm getting really tired of running those things down (at half-speed, it seems, to boot). other than those ridiculous bugs, i've been pretty happy with the game.
