controller configuration

Hm... apparently I wasn't playing 2005.

I just tried it and you're right - buttons 5 and 6 didn't do anything, even if I put those lines in the controller. I must've gotten it confused when I was flipping between 2004 and 2005 to try to improve my graphics stuttering.

I coulda sworn I saw it happen in 2005, but I guess I was wrong. That does kinda suck.

Anyway, I stand corrected.

Sadly, MVP 2005 seems to ignore the RUNNER_STOP stuff. Not sure why they took that out, although I didn't use it that often. It was definitely nice to use on line drives.

Has anyone else figured out how to stop the baserunners?

No, but I think I visually compared the two and they were pretty darn close. I think we may be out of luck. Let me know if you discover anything else.

Sorry I was so sure I could stop my baserunners. I noticed that the computer will do it automatically on fly balls... maybe that coincided with a key I hit once so I thought I had been able to stop the runner manually. Oh well.
