BallFour
So this is a new one and I'm wondering if anyone else has experience with this - I recently modded a logo's FSH file. Did everything as normal. Opened up each individual picture inside the FSH, erased it and then pasted in the logo I wanted. Then made sure that my alphas are 8-bit BMPs. Packed everything back up with nfshtool. Reimported it into the logos.big file and compressed it.... and now the game crashes. I re-open the logos.big file and then it looks like there are a couple of other FSH files that are no longer compressed and much smaller than they were. The logo file I re-imported was l065.fsh and when I reopen, l001.fsh and l017.fsh and l021.fsh were all uncompressed and only about 14,000 in size rather than the normal 36,000. Even after re-compressing those files, the game still crashes and I had to revert to the clean logos file in order to boot the game back up again. Anybody else with a similar experience? Programs used: Adobe Photoshop, nfshtool, bigGUI, EA Graphics Editor Quote Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/75383-logosbig-crash/ Share on other sites
Jim825 Posted yesterday at 03:24 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:24 AM I seem to recall reading about bigGUI causing file corruption issues for some modders. I prefer to use eazip. I’ve never had issues using it when working on .big files.
