I installed the 2 official patchs for the game and installed some rosters and now my game plays at 100 miles per hour. It's so fast. Anybody know how to fix this?

100 miles an hour? really? how did you calculate that?

Having the same problem...once the ball is in play, it's like watching a game in fast-forward. It's like a HIDDEN 'Cooperstown effect', as it reminds me of watching old baseball reels where the speed was too fast.

Oh, and I have VSYNC on in Windows and in the game.

However, I found this on the EA site (I have the 6800GT):

Question

How do you correct fast game play after installing the 2nd Patch?

Answer

This is a timing issue that is present on faster video cards such as the ATI x series (x300, x600, x800, etc) and the nVidia 6x00 series.

Try turning Vertical Sync on.

Follow the steps below to enable this function on NVIDIA cards.

Right-click on the desktop screen and select Properties.

Select Settings tab.

Select Advanced button.

Select the GeForce card (Tab).

Select the Performance/Quality tab.

Find the Vertical Sync option in the box.

Select the off option.

Restart the computer and try the game.

For ATI cards

Right-click on the desktop screen and select Properties.

Select Settings tab.

Select Advanced button.

Go to the 3D tab.

Check the Use custom settings box for both Direct3D and OpenGL.

Press the custom... button to access the controls for both modes.

Turn the Wait for vertical sync slider all the way to the left.

Restart the computer and try the game.

If this still fails to resolve the fast play. Uninstall the game and reinstall the game, but do not apply the 2nd patch.

That makes absolutely no sense, doing those things turns V-Sync off & you just quoted the site saying that one should turn it on.

Anyway, the answer is, turn on V-Sync not off. Also make sure you are playing the game at 60 hz refresh rate.
