It's a great site with a lot of interesting videos...the shame is there aren't much MLB telecasts on that site other than the Cabrera catch against Boston. There had ABC's coverage of Kobe's game winning shot against Phoenix , FOX NFL highlights , but they can't show Aaron Boone's Game 7 home run? :(

Yes , damn them and their stupid rules...I assume they are the ones responsible for removing hundreds of classic 80's songs off Altavista mp3 search . Get xfire and I can right click and click join to join the game you're in and get owned...xfire is really a nice tool for gamers , it's an instant messenger which also lets you join games your friends are in , really nice tool. And I am glad that college classes are over for now ... fortunately these psychology and history classes I finished were not as challenging and grueling as my days as an engineering major. Those were horrible days.

The Sopranos is a good show. I just started watching this season and I like what I see so far. It seems I've joined at the wrong time since the first episode I watched involved Tony getting shot , and as we find out later , (spoilers) near death. The Sopranos , followed by 24 , make up 2 great back-to-back days of television drama. I don't watch the Shield but I did see a couple of minutes of the intro to one episode where they argued about a softball call. That was pretty funny.

I came to the dark side during the 2001 World series , and haven't looked back. I look forward to watching my first Sopranos episode today. Hopefully I won't miss it , I don't know when it airs. And the Rangers are playing very well...Jagr is playing much better than he did in Washington DC , and Lundquist is doing a fantastic job. The Hurricanes and Sens are doing a good job too...when NHL postseason comes it should be interesting to watch several of those teams duel it out. That is when hockey is at its best.

They did play Satisfaction although Mick Jagger slurred some of the words in the song. It was ok , and I never even heard of the song between "Start me Up" and "Satisfaction". It still was nothing compared to what was probably the best halftime show I've ever seen with Paul McCartney last year (keep in mind I have only followed the super bowl since 2000).

Yes , last year's Paul McCartney halftime show was very good. One can only hope the Stones will play the classic hits today like "Satisfaction" and "Start Me Up" instead of new material. On the same topic Jesse Jackson and friends were upset about the Super Bowl not having a Motown-themed halftime show. I for one would have liked to seen The Temptations , Smokey Robinson , and Aretha Franklin all singing their respective hits from the 60's and 70's , it would be better than the Stones for sure. True...the new simpsons episodes have lacked the humor and wit of the classics. For some reason they don't even show the classic simpsons here anymore (they only show simpsons at 7:30 and it's always a new episode. They repeat from the same batch of "new" episodes so the same episode with marge getting drunk off long island iced tea gets played every 2 weeks). And I still don't think the Jays are better than the Red Sox yet. Maybe in a couple of years , but this year will end up like last year did. Yankees 1st , Red Sox 2nd , Jays 3rd and so on. It's just that Schilling has had so much time to rest off his injury... him and Clement (if he pitches like he did the first half) are better than the Jays rotation regardless of the talent of Chacin etc. If Glaus can stay healthy the Jays might give it a run but Manny and Ortiz (barring a manny trade) remain one of the best hitter duos in the game.

Seinfeld is the best sitcom on tv. With few exceptions the other sitcoms on tv are sub-par compared to seinfeld. Some of them aren't even funny. How is "That 70's show" funny? There is only one show better than Seinfeld , South Park , or Simpsons (and all 3 of those shows are outstanding). That show is 24. And I have no problem with the steelers winning the afc championship. The only thing I'm concerned about is how many steeler sweatshirts I will see tommorow...there are A LOT of steelers fans at virginia tech. I however was shocked to watch seattle administer a spanking to carolina...thought the score would be in carolina's favour and much closer than that. Both of today's games were horrible since they weren't close at all and were basically over at halftime. I can only hope the Super Bowl is not as bad as these championship games were.

I've been stuck at college since Tuesday. Despite the fact that finals ended Tuesday and that I could go home now I must stay here until final grades are determined. This being said , it has now been 6 days and I still have not gotten the results of one final. What is taking them so long?

You know what i hate most about the snow? The fact that I have to haul my butt out to scrape ice and snow off the car. I mean the snow is beautiful and all but i have to scrape it all off which wastes time Meanwhile Yankees4Life I believe it was you who said you enjoyed college basketball? As a sports enthusiast who enjoys a wide variety of sports from football to hockey I along with JoeRudi would like to see an "Official College Basketball Thread" , since it is that time of year. Damn I missed the NBC days. When I got hooked on baseball it was back after 9/11 in 2001...missed bob costas and joe morgan And I am still extremely angry about the Hokies undefeated season going down in flames last night. Although Miami had a good defense and played well Vick was 1 of 10 in the first half and the offense couldn't get it going. Absolutely pathetic effort.

Well said. I love College Basketball so much that I would rank it #3 on my hierarchy of sports (Football and Baseball being better)...It is better than the NBA and better than the joke of a sport known as College Football. At least College basketball was smart enough to create probably one of the best postseason experiences in sports history with March Madness... 8 more days until the start of the college basketball season!

haahah it's pretty realistic , unfortunately the real life nats manage to score over 4 runs once in a while unlike these fantasy nats. I'll try some of the sliders suggested in previous posts and play around (really jack up the power to 50) if nothing happens then i might need to change teams

I'd like some slider suggestions : I am the Washington Nationals in owner mode. It is basically IMPOSSIBLE to get a home run on pro. It is also impossible to score over 4 runs apparently. Constantly runners without my permission will try to run for 2nd when I am trying to bat , and obviously they get tagged out , meaning less opportunities. I don't know whether it's my extreme lack of patience or my tendency to swing at pitches outside the strike zone but over a period of 10 games I have only hit 3 home runs. I have been shut out 3 times and cannot score more than 4 runs. This is completely pathetic offensively. Please suggest any sliders that would improve my anemic hitting.
