I know what you mean. I have to check the official IDs every time I install one to make sure it is the official ID. My first cyberface was awful, but now that I've got the hang of making them I'm going to try to grant some of these requests. Here is a picture of first success (Alex Wood):

Before you release a face, you really have to ask yourself if it has some semblance of how the real player looks.  Just don't see that here:

  3. New players are tough as you're going on how minor league data/stats would translate to the majors.  No one really can know of course, so I had my own little formula for the early going.  After the player gets at least about 40 games under his belt is when I would subject him to my chart then for contact and power.

  4. Good luck with this .... but don't expect a lot of accolades other than from the regulars around here.

You're welcome to use the last roster I did for the MLB players if you want.  It was all based off actual stats, mainly cumulative over the years except for rookies of course.  Actual hot/cold zones, actual speeds, etc.  Let me know if you need any resources that I haven't already posted.   I'm letting the roster project go and basically it's open game.  Wish you the best.

I would like to ask the community's opinion on this. Should I continue making my roster since there is already one?  It even has MiLB teams in it. I have taken a lot of time and effort to make my roster. So, Should I continue making my it?

In short, yes.  IMO it's not a good roster from an attribute standpoint.  If you want any input, I was the one who did the rosters for the last 9 years.  I can give you websites, charts I developed and whatever else if you want.  But mainly, updates were based on stats ... not what I thought about the player.

  6. Put in less of the name, not more.  Putting in less, like just a first or last name or even a partial name might yield more results.

  7. There's no legitimate way to get a CD key to work from another source with an existing disc.  Basically you bought a safe without a combination or the keys that came with it.

As far as the Windows 10 problem, Jim already pointed to the proper thread(s).

Might not be the answers you're looking for, but that's the answer.  Don't buy software without the associated keys.

I am trying to install mvp 2k5 . I have the original disks but since they are so old (i think) the install either will not start or it gets to 60% on the second disk and hangs. Is there a way around this or do I have to spend $180 to buy new disks. I love this game and really need to play on this new computer. Thanks.

You're better off spending $75 dollars on a computer with Windows XP or 7 on it that will run it with no problems.
