The tool will also create a backup file of your current mvp2005.exe as mvp2005.exe.bak so if the program screws up, you can revert back to your old settings. Works as described.  Note: You still need to change the setting in the game options, and it only affects gameplay resolution, not the menus.  Just pointing this out, as I almost mistakenly thought it didn't work.

Worked great on Win 7 VM (VM Ware Workstation Pro 15 on Win10 box).

 

Initially I wasn't sure if it worked (being newer to MVP 2005 on PC) because the menu screen in game was still small, but when I got the actual baseball game going, it kicked into the resolution I wanted.

I'm guessing it changed the resolution in game but for some reason I STILL can't go Fullscreen.  I chose 1920x1080 on the tool and still have the borders on my TV screen that's hooked up to my TV?

you are a god send for this mod. couldn't stand playing with the borders around the screen finally got it on fullscreen. thank you
