this is just an early release i had sitting around for people to try. it is not fully functional. only a few teams work. i didn't realize it was not uploaded here, so here it is. i can't remember which teams work, so you'll have to test it. off the top of my head, i want to say the mariners, yankees, red sox, athletics, braves, dodgers, etc...but i could be wrong so just try it out.
not all portraits are done. not all cyberfaces are done. not all audios are done. stadiums are not included. uniforms are not included for now so you can have a functional beta mod to try out without graphic crashing--pretty much any visual enhancements are not included. not all rosters are finalized. in fact, they will change by the final release which will be done whenever i get it done.
please install on a clean version of mvp only. TIT will do it for you. if you want to go another route, you're welcome to if you know what you are doing.

WHAT IS THIS?
It's a total conversion mod to MVP 05. This will combine
the all time great and fan favorite players with the modern
ones.
WHY IS IT CALLED LEGENDS?
This mod has the biggest collection of all the legends in
one roster.
HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM TOTAL CLASSICS?
Total Classics is very similar. But it allows you to play
some of the greatest teams ever assembled. This mod allows
you to play your favorite organization, with your favorite
players at every level of that organization.
WHAT THIS ISN'T
This is not an all time rosters project. It's very similar.
Please do not tell us this guy DESERVES this or that. More
than likely that guy is in the game somewhere, so edit as
you please. There's too many of you to be able to please
everyone with the roster decisions. In the end, you always
have the capability to change it if you want, so do that.
If you would like to make a request, feel free.
Rules
1. No repeated players. Thus allowing more players, but
also tough decisions had to be made. So don't complain if
player A "deserves" to be on team B as you wish. Simply
move them to that team if you want. We can't make everyone
happy about the rosters but I think you can make due.
2. All 8 fielding positions and DH starters, starting
pitchers, manager, closer, and back up catchers are
filled first. We tried to evaluate the best combinations
at the higher levels. It's not perfect, so again, don't
complain, just edit the roster yourself if you're not
satisfied. Guys who should start are starting at some level
the other guys on the bench and bullpen are fill in's or
overflow. All the overflow guys requested were either:
A. place on a different team
B. in the FA pool
3. Teams without an extensive history were done to the best
ability, so yes some organizations will lack compared to
others. That's history for you. We reserved the right to
include players from Japan, Negro Leagues, other leagues,
fictional players and such to fill in spots.
4. All-Star rosters, Legends, and Heroes rosters are what
they are. Again if you disagree with them, change them.
They are not, were not, and never will be intended to be
the best of all time. So don't go on those righteous
arguments that this guy is the greatest of all time and
deserves this or that. The All-Star rosters were chosen
by popular vote and that is that.
5. No complaining. Not sure if that has been stressed
enough yet. This is a video game. These modifications
have been made by someone else. We did the best to address
the most people as possible. In the end it's just a game
so don't start an argument over nothing. Otherwise, enjoy
this. It should be a pretty fun mod.
6. Any requests. Feel free to make requests. Not sure if
we'll do updates, but possibly. Checkout our thread. If
you would like to have a portrait of a guy in another
uniform because you decided to move him, simply ask. If a
guy currently playing finally does something you think would
qualify him for this roster, just ask.
