About This File

The dome of doom!

Welcome 2K fans to Tropicana Field 2K16. Firstly, this stadium was a tough one to wrangle but I think I'm satisfied with it for now. The lighting profile specifically in this park was a nightmare to work with. Because the Rays changed their color scheme since, the lighting is set up slightly different. Add the fact that they decided to actually have a noticeable night and day cycle in a domed stadium is beyond me, but I'm sure there is some reason for it. So with that said, you will notice during day games a pretty dark and shadowy park. During night, it may seem as though the light source is just radiating through a paper-thin venue, and when the lighting is somewhere in between - hopefully pure gold. :) So my goal was to be in neutral ground for terms of contrast and color.

If you consistently use the Rays you may opt to go without ENB effects. You may actually see bloom effects around the highly shadowed areas. If that just kills your immersion they maybe disable ENB effects if you are using them.

Great work given the limitations of the lighting profile for the ballpark itself.

It's a beautiful mod during the night, but the day and afternoon is way too dark. Is there a way to turn on the stadium lights or is the dome supposes to open?
