Hollywood70 Posted December 26, 2005 Share Posted December 26, 2005 One of the things that has irritated me about MVP 04 and 05 for PC has been the terrible sound made when the bat hits the ball. It's more of a "ping" than a "crack" sound. However, today I was watching some of the videos at the official EA web site, and whenever a ball was hit there was a GREAT sound of a wood bat hitting a ball. So, is it just the PC platform that has the awful bat sound? I haven't seen any mods for bat sound yet. Does anyone know if it's moddable? JP_Frost Posted December 26, 2005 Share Posted December 26, 2005 I think the bat sound is pretty good, but I understand what you mean. It seems to be a bit too high pitched. One of the differences between 04 and 05 to me was the catcher's glove sound. In Mvp 04 you would only hear the loud thud when a pitcher threw 95+. In Mvp you hear that sound when is pitch is anything over 90 mph. Maybe someone could implement the catching sounds from 2004 in 2005?
