ST. PETERSBURG - Biggest earthquake in last 2000 years yesterday hits the Tampa Bay MLB roster..Most of players of MLB team were traded to their new teams and Tampa Bay accuired a lot of new young guns for victories and glory in next few years(maybe 2000 years too:) Fired was also team manager Joe Maddon and Tampa Bay hired new unknown unexperienced manager R.K. So we are waiting for next big thing, but this will be probably a very very very long and frustraiting way:]

Game 5 Recap - Papelbon blow his save opportunity, A's won in 12th inning

Chase Utley strong start to the season continues in first inning with solo homerun to the right, but it was last from Devil Rays this night. Discipline at plate was again big problem for Rays batters.

Micah Owings pitched very well and retired batter per batter with lot of groundballs, from fifth inning he has peroblem with control of his pitches.

Owings pitched for six , scoreless innings, struck out 2 batters. Chad Gaudin were in litlle trouble in the bottom of fourth inning when he loaded bases and two outs with singles from Chris Duncan with very close play at first base and another single from third baseman Chris Gordon, also he issued a walk to Jarrod Saltalamacchia. At he bat was Troy Tulowitziki and as usually he was struck out swinging:))) Plate discipline, plate discipline:)

In the top of seventh take the mound Carlos Villanueva with one man on base after single from Dan Johnson , first pitch and Travis Buck was hit by pitch:) Afterthat three quick outs by Carlos Villanueva.

Until ninthth inning booth defends works well, but in the bottom on ninth Devils Rays closer Jon Papelbon allowed solo HR from Dan Johnson and there is extra inning, but Devil Rays still struggles on plate and in the top of 12th inning is there another homer from A's from the bat of Rob Bowen and closer Houston Street make his job better than Papelbon...:)

2-1 deserved victory for Athletics.

Game 6 Recap - 6 solo HR's allowed by DRays pitching staff!!!

It looks like very nice game at the start...Bottom of first, bases loaded ,no out , Richa Harden allowed 2 runs in this inning by a single from Alex Gordon to center field. Kim has two first inning very quick and he looks very sharp..But ;]

Top 3rd..deep fly ball to rhe right..Im running with Delmon Young to the left and im waiting for ball.. but now, Delmon is doing step to right and again to the right and now he is running to the wall at the center:))) no response from my buttons on gamepad = nice inside the park homerun by Travis Buck...:D

Kim was shocked and he was totally out of zone..in 4th and 5th inning , he allowed another 3 single HR's..in 7th was substituted by Oscar Villarreal and Oscar wants probably be better than Kim when he in 0.1 innings pitcher allowed also 2 HR's a one signle RBI..nice job, thanks:)))

So Athletics won the series 2-1 and we need to rise productivity at the bat.

Game 7 Recap - Another no decision for Hill, but Devil Rays won

Rich Hill(6.1IP,8H,2R,2ER,1BB)was again hittable in his second start of the season. In first two innings of work he allowed 2 runs and his pitching in first three inning, it was like watching some film from Alfred Hitchock's;]

Most of pitches ends as single or double, from fourth inning Hill pitch more better and leave the field with 3-2 lead, but asi is usually in last games,Carlos Villanuevafrom bullpen allowed a solo HR to tied the game to 3-3 in 7th.

But at the bottom of 7th, Cabrera(7.0IP,9H,5ER,5R,2BB and 2SO) loaded bases with 2 outs and Chase Utley singles to center for 2 RBI's to give up Devil Rays 5-3 leads again.

Oscar likes a horror movie too, so he suprislly allowed a solo HR from Nick Markakis ;)

Jonathan Papelbon try to maka another drama with blown safe to loaded 1st a 3rd base with 2 outs, but get well done his jobe with grounded batter out at first to save 5-4 victory for Devil Rays in first series game against Baltimore.
