Hollywood70 Posted March 8, 2009 Share Posted March 8, 2009 Red letter day for me, as I have finally gotten the game working on my computer (updated my laptop to NON LAPTOP drivers and all the problem disappeared - go figure). After playing a dozen games or so, I can see a lot of the glitches and annoyances that I have been reading about here in the forum. I've discovered that (so far) I can live with all of them, but the one thing I truly hate is that there is no "assisted fielding" option. Perhaps I'll get used to having to field myself, but after 4+ years and literally thousands of games of MVP 05, this is just something that is damn difficult to adjust to - not to mention that I think it takes a TON of realism out of the game (i.e., outfielders going all wobbly as you fumble around with the stick trying to figure out which way to point). fenway389 Posted March 8, 2009 Share Posted March 8, 2009 I think I remember reading somewhere that if you don't move the fielding stick after the ball is hit, the fielder will go after the ball on it's own.
