good luck waiting till the price goes down to 100 because Sony is likely losing money already by selling the console at less than 200 Sony desperately wants to completely dominate the handheld genre, and the first thing to do is to put out a far more capable machine at a competitive price.

The PSP can be used to watch movies (Final Fantasy VII Advent Children) and you can use the memory card to import music and movies. The only weakness of the machine is the battery life, but you can buy backup battery packs at a fairly cheap price.

To clear up any confusion. The PSP is not $299. It will be $179.99-$199.99. The PSP does not have better than Gamecube graphics. That is impossible since the PSP has a resolution of 480x272, while the Gamecube runs at a minimum of 640x480.

The battery life is different for every game. A racing game may drain the batteries in 2 hours while a puzzle game may take 6 hours. Sony hopes to have a battery released in the future that will last 12 hours per charge.

Finally, those screenshots are great graphics for a portable system. They are much better than PSX graphics, and almost as good as PS2. The screen resolution will always prevent it from looking as good as PS2.

you meant PSOne, because PSX is Sony's PS2 entertainment system with DVR and such.

The first playstation (not the mini PSOne) the gray rectange one was called the psx. If you go to psx.ign.com it pertains to the original playstation.

This is just titled MVP Baseball, not MVP Baseball 2005, it doesnt represent what 2005 will look like on consoles,pc..but it does look nice on a handheld console.

obviously this will be titled MVP Baseball 2005 if they are planning on releasing it every year. They are using the same engine they are using on the consoles and PC but the details will be watered down.
