redeck Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 isnt there already a portrait pack out for the offseason moves? thoughtI saw one, but there are any number of Portrait modders out there, lets here it guys who can take on that job. I would myself but im putting the last touches on my Negros Leagues mod Phase 2, hopefully to release this weekend, like tomorow maybe. and Dennis put up a nice new overlay, Y4L will get nice picks for splash screens if someone wants to do them......lets here it guys, who else can do what else? Although like you said, downloading all the photos seems WAY too time consuming . . . perhaps we can start compiling a list of all the photos that need to be upgraded and/or added, verses those that are fine how they are (e.g., Carlos Lee is still with the Astros, no need for a new portrait). ~Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Toleton Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 Here are all of the current 2011 works-in-progress to the best of my knowledge: -SESbb30, myself, and Playball are working on new rosters and ratings for all MLB and (eventually) all minor league teams for 2011 -DylanBradbury is going to slam out the 2011 MLB schedule once the MLB game start-times are finalized -jogar is pounding out some badly needed and amazing looking cyberfaces I post this for two reasons: 1) so that someone can correct me if I'm wrong, 2) so that someone who knows how to do portraits will hopefully be inspired to undertake a badly needed portrait update. Some guys, like Miguel Tejada, are 2 or three teams removed for when their last portrait was last updated. I hope that our work can generate more interest not only in veteran modders, but also in long-time gamers to become modders. With enough activity, we may even be able start work on a full conversion mod for 2012. ~Chris I have made 2 packages with nearly 200 portraits reflecting changes during this offseason, which I forcely posted in MLBMODS as there are limitations here for uploading (less than 2 Mb per file). Right now I have 100 more not posted yet and I still working on updating as long as I find good pictures. I offered to send a list of these offseason moves for the friends which are working in the rosters but I got complicated with lack of time.
