Totte Posted June 16, 2006 Share Posted June 16, 2006 I don't have any patches or mods installed, actually. The problem only surfaced when I installed the UR. I didn't have any sort of problem when I used the game out of the box, or when I installed any of the offical EA patches. Are you using the Standard or Plus verison of the rosters? Either way, you need patch 3 & 5 by EA installed. You can grab them in the downloads section. cybernetic Posted June 16, 2006 Share Posted June 16, 2006 I don't know if you noticed this but in UR 6.5 it doesn't record Alex Rios stats for 2005 because in the lahman database his name is Alexis Rios so you can edit that manually by adding those stats through the lahman by selecting his name from there or changing his name to Alexis Rios to do it. He keeps the ball out of the bleachers by forcing grounders with his nice sinker. Morris had to rely more on his breaking stuff and sinker, which last year helped him induce 26 double plays, the third most among National League pitchers. For some reason (and I haven't been able to in a while), whenever I try to edit pitchers, the game crashes. Even without any patches or anything added. It is a nice quick way to exit the game, though! LOL. Done. Just imported the stats. You don't have to change the players name as you just search for that specific player in the list. I'm having my gallbladder removed on Monday so by Wednesday, or Thurday morning at the lastest, I'll be sitting at home for 2 weeks with nothing to do but play MVP Baseball. I should be able to get in a 100 or so games and test a few different dynastys by the end of the beta test. (June 25th or 26th). Just PM me or something.
