TBJ1977
Thank you everyone who made/makes this all possible. I'm, facing 2 issues right now I'd like resolved asap. 1) MVPedit loads up, i import the dat and see all the player and team info etc, however it says no picture available, and where you are suppose to click it to add a picture, nothing happens. 2) MVPstudio6. installs but when i click uniedit error is f20.dll or one of its dependencies invalid, missing etc... I've got a cope of that file and added it to different places it should go but same error. 3)since mvpstudio6 doesnt work i tried mvpstudio final 3.0, and i can get it to load the teams and jerseys but cannot seem to add... gfxpack.exe stops working, but it shows popup that its complete....no images appear in the program, the files they say are done dont actually provide any added jersey... ANY IDEAS? FIX? WORKING VERSIONS YOU WILL SHARE? THANK YOU! I may be back for the stadiums, but need to at least get these working before I further commit. Thank you!! Yankee4Life
Yes. Don't use them. You may think that is a sarcastic answer but it actually is not.. Keep in mind that this game is twenty years old (soon to be twenty-one in February) and when they were made for the game Windows XP was the operating system it was made for. It has not been updated to be used on later operating systems, a fact that I find very unfortunate because I loved to use Studio to add my uniforms. The same can be said about Mvpedit. I don't mean to discourage anyone from modding, but these utilities are very old and rely on libraries/dependencies that were specific to Windows XP or even 7 at the time. It can be very hard to try and get it up and running on a modern OS and there's no guarantee it'll work consistently Quote Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/75898-mvpstudio06-mvpstudio-3-mvpedit-errors-f20dll-gfxpackexe/#findComment-715713 Share on other sites

TBJ1977
Many thanks to all 3 of you!!! I'll dig out an old tower at some point and give it a shot. I was excited to play the 93 Mod mostly but it crashes whenever I load a game. (assuming its the 2x graphics etc) That would need a better cpu/newer/more processing to work? Anyone/yourself able to state the system minimum requirements for those mods to perform properly? I can post a new topic if you all prefer, but figured I'd ask while people were replying. & yes the Jersery adding is cool, many thanks to those creators! MVPedit seems like a handy tool as well. I'm excited to get those going!! Jim825
The game is 20 years old so the requirements are not that high. Here’s what I found online: The system requirements for MVP Baseball 2005 on PC are: Operating System: a Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP operating system Processor: an 800 MHz processor Memory: 128 MB of RAM Hard Drive: 1.4 GB of free hard drive space Video card: a 32 MB DirectX 9.0c-compatible video card CD-ROM drive: an 8X CD-ROM drive Sound card; A DirectX 9.0c-compatible sound card Quote Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/75898-mvpstudio06-mvpstudio-3-mvpedit-errors-f20dll-gfxpackexe/#findComment-715741 Share on other sites
Yankee4Life
Thank you Jim. You beat me to it. Let me add TBJ1977 that any newer computer, well any computer made in the past fifteen years or so has these requirements. In fact I should say longer than that. TBJ1977
2005 has worked for me no issues playing, aside from the 93 mod, i assume its the graphics for the stadiums etc 2x or whatever they were created as. so i'd assume going to an older cpu from that era wouldnt necessarily help that but I'll try. mvp edit and mvpstudio both wont function properly for me. so like someone suggested I'll mod on old cpu and move to new cpu, if new cpu looks/plays better. 2004 wouldnt work at all on 8.1, or virtual machine, so id have to check that on the older machine. I'll let you all know the progress. I appreciate all the insight and asistance. Cheers! I should have included that important part too.
