Moved: Help with Transparency for Fenway....

I am working on updating some of the features of Fenway Day, but I am having problems with the "John Hancock" sign. I have created the sign as I want it, but when importing it into FSHed, there is no transparency. I originally exported the sign as a 32bit, and I'm sure that my problem has something to do with the alpha layer?

Here is the original bmp, and what I recreated. If anyone could point me in the right direction of what I need to do next, I would appreciate it very much. I have Photoshop CS and Paint Shop Pro 7. I'd rather correct it in PSP7 if possible.

Thanks!

Pics shown here are .jpg. Please download .zip file to get the .bmp files.

Thanks

I usually avoid messing about with alpha channels by just making transparent .PNG files. Or straight Photoshop files, even, since FSHed can import both of them (if you have the plugin).

That being said, I've never done any stadium mods, so I don't know if there are differences that require alpha channels...

Thanks, I didn't know that you could import .png or .psd files into FSHed. I'll definately try that!

Thanks

Thanks Fizzjob!!

I installed the plugin for FSHed and was able to import the .gifs and .png files/ Appreciate it. Here is a scaled down version of the sign in Fenway that I made. I'm still playing around with the Ads.

I could upload what I have so far later today, but the ads/signs are not correct. I just added some signs that I wanted to see in the park. If anyone has some good, recent pictures of Fenway with the ads showing, please send me the link and I'll update with the "real" ads.

Thanks

Okay, I have uploaded Fenway Park (Day) v1 and Fenway Park (Night) v1 to the 2005 Stadiums. I do not have the correct ads in place yet, but the John Hancock sign seems to be working faily well.

Here is the sign updated for Night. I may need to tone down the light a little.

Thanks,

@ itjit

THANK YOU! Looks absolutely awesome.

I think with just the WB Mason and Bob's Stores signs in the scoreboard on the Green Monster, and it's mint.

Man oh man..... Manny can finally swat stuff at a CITGO SIGN. :D Love it!

itjit i will be watching the sox games and i'll try to check out all the signs (if they are different from last year) and report them on this forum if its wanted. i can actually take a bunch of screenshots using my TV capture card, but it might be a bit tricky because I'll have to sit here throughout the game with my finger on the button every time they show something.

anyways have to wait for the 11th when they are back home anyways.
