  1. I could have done even better. On two questions I was waffling between two answers, and on both of them, I picked the wrong one.
  2. 7/10, 113 seconds. I’ll gladly take that. Lots of guessing today.
  3. 7/10, 174 seconds. I second guessed myself on one question and changed the answer which cost me. I should have stuck with my first instinct, since it was the correct answer. I also waffled between two answers on another question and picked the wrong one.
  4. 9/10, 65 seconds. I thought I had the top score but realized I blew it on the playoffs question.
  5. 7/10, 124 seconds
  6. 10/10, 109 seconds
  7. 8/10, 102 seconds
  8. 7/10, 141 seconds
  9. 7/10, 99 seconds. Lots of lucky guesses today.
  10. 7/10, 105 seconds
  11. 10/10, 69 seconds
  12. Very tough today. There was a lot of guessing. 6/10 154 seconds
  13. 10/10 112 seconds
  14. 6/10 141 seconds. It should have been 7/10 but I fat fingered one of the answers and the wrong one was selected. A number of the answers, however, were lucky guesses.
  15. Tough one today. 6/10 180 seconds
  16. 9/10 85 seconds
  17. First time playing. 6/10 in 145 seconds.
  18. How about Oakland being on a 6-game winning streak after beating Tampa last night? On any given night, the team with the worst record in baseball can beat the team with the best record.
  19. You’re right, and your temperament has definitely changed this season. When the Yankees lose, he complains. When the Yankees win, he complains. It’s not worth the effort to have a conversation here. He can hate on the Yankees all season, and happily post when they lose. I will be optimistic (and probably naive) but still root for them win or lose, like I do every year.
  20. It’s better than 10.5 games back . . .
  21. Oops - Yankees 3, Red Sox 1 Tampa lost, so the Yankees picked up a game on them.
  22. No argument here. Pitching hasn’t been good enough and not enough guys are hitting. Injuries are killing this team.
  23. Actually, they picked up one game in the standings this week. They took 2 of 3 from the Mariners while the Rays only took 1 of 3 from the Cubs. They were 7 games behind the Rays last Sunday and are 6 games behind now. I agree that they could lose ground this weekend as they play the Dodgers while the Rays play the Red Sox but we’ll have to see how these games play out.
  24. It doesn’t matter to him. He’ll post again the next time the Yankees lose. If they win, and better yet, gain ground on the Rays, he stays silent.
  25. Yes, the Rays won, but the Yankees DIDN’T LOSE! If they lost, you’d be all over them. They win and it doesn’t seem to matter to you.
