Glove Pack Uploaded

I submitted a set of new gloves 4 different makes and a left handed version of the TPX glove. I also included 3 new catcher mits. They should be available any minute now. If you want to have an idea what they look like, see my thread on the mod previews titled Wilson A3000. Although I basically redid all of them so they are alittle better than the previews there. I did not include the clemens TPX glove I replaced it w/ a gray rawlings. Hope you enjoy

do you have the gfxpak program in your main mvp folder? I did not include that in my download because if you have other mods, you more than likely have the program already. Just be sure there is a copy of it in your main mvp folder.

Yep that is my bat file kinda. I mirrored pieces of a few other bat files (timmay's bat selector, and raindelays packer and unpacker). I cant figure out why the first line isnt even working. Maybe someone w/ more knowledge of gfxpak can help out. The only thing i can think of is its a different version. The one I have is 332Kb modified Oct 12, 2002.

I dont have MVP installed in the default folder, but it shouldnt matter since the directory structure is the same so I have no idea what the problem is. Here is what I get when i click on it.

Heres an alternative method. Download RainDelays Utility to edit gloves/bats etc (it has the gfxpak I use in it)..... Run unpack it will create a models/textures folder in your main MVP folder. Copy my 2 fsh files into the models/textures folder, then run the repack bat file.

Ummm, the bat selector is mine, not timmay's :)

The first couple of errors likely result from people not having gfxpak in the right folder. You either need it in the same folder as the batch file, or in your C:WINDOWS folder. Either that or they have an old version of gfxpak, there was one out there that didn't understand all the commands. Download any of my mods and it has the correct one in it.

Also, if you copied the batch for the glove installer from MVP 2004, it did have those two slashes in the wrong direction as BudHawk suggested.

As for jitter's problem, it looks like you already have /models and /textures folders in there. Any mod that changes the initstaz.big file will need to create these folders, some guy's mods don't delete them when they are done. My batch files always delete these things before they close. You should be able to delete them and run it again and it should work.

If you are still having problems, post your outputs here and hopefully we can troubleshoot for you.

heh well i wasnt having any problems, I knew those directories were already there, and the reason I didnt delete them was because I made a major error. When i first made the bat file I had it deleting the directories. Of course I had all my psd files in there and they went bye bye

jitter i told you this would be a big hit if you did the mod. already gone gold (i call it gold when it gets the star = 200 dloads, platinum = 500, double paltinum = 1000 - kinda like a cd- never mind). are you going to release another version? i think it would be great to have a wide selection.

I realized that after I posted it...I had actually forgotten that it was you that started the thread, then I saw the post with that "already exists" error in it and responded...

I'm definitely familiar with the complexity of the initstaz/inistay files, I've had my share of fun there too. Not quite sure why they chose to do it that way. All the other mods are much easier to install because they don't have that crazy nested set up, where you have to extract, then extract again to folders that you have to create...When I first came up with my bat mod for 2004 I struggled for many hours trying to figure out how to set it up so that everyone could use it...I still get messages from people having problems...

I think the backwards slashes are correct. when i was making the bat file I cleaned out all my folders that it would create and basically started from scratch to make sure it worked. I am not sure why they are reversed, but im pretty sure they are ok.

EDIT: I will prob make some more. Should be easier and hopefully improved. Dont know when I will get around to it though
