Gordo Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Reviving this thread as I have this problem. I also have an older ATI card. When I pause the game and attempt to alt+tab, I get a flickering via moving my mouse cursor around. I am definitely out of the game as no game functions work, but the game's full screen is still there and even though I can "see" other things in my task bar that I can click on, including the "start" button, it doesn't actually come up, including the task manager when I call that up. In essence, I can never truly get out of the screen if in-game. I don't think it's my game resolution matching my desktop rez, but I can check that. There are times when you want to minimize and capture a screen shot. Any other solutions? With my Nvidia 7600 GS card, I can now minimize, do something else, maximize it again and continue playing.
