Thanks to everyone for staying interested. Here's an update. I am nearly finished double-checking my work and have moved back the final release date to July 10, a few days before the All-Star break. I want this file to be as consistent as possible with trades, roster moves, etc. Thanks again for your interest.

Not sure if you got this already, but Timlin needs to have a sinker in his pitching repetoire. He doesn't have one.

If you are using the basic default EA rosters to make these correct pitches then please disregard the above statement. The sinker has been left out only in the MVP 06 mod.

Thanks. Great job.

Hello all! For those of you worrying about the status of this project...it's still a go! I am nearly completed with it. I say "nearly" because I would like to release sort of a beta preview to you all who are experts of particular teams. I received a few private messages from some of you who were wanting to help me out, but in order to keep everything for this "mod" in one place, please post in this thread if you would like to preview your teams pitchers and pitch lists. After a few days of double-checking via this "beta" I will release the text file for download. I think this will work best for everyone in the long run. Thanks again for your interest...again, if you want to "beta" your favorite team's correct pitch list, please post here and I will provide the information as quickly as I can. Thanks again!

Here is what I was able to come up with for the Yankees. Most of the pitch lists should be spot on, except for Tanyon Sturtze. Right now I am sticking to the Major-League rosters, just so I don't get caught up in hunting down information for prospects. If the response to this project is strong and everything goes well, I will include any minor-league pitchers that I can. If you find an inconsistency in these pitch lists, please post it in this thread along with the reason you think it should be changed and include a source if possible (website, scouting report, etc.). Again, these lists are meant to be "beta previews", so if you decide to update your pitchers based on these "betas", please be advised that the information could change. Thanks again everyone for your continued help and support!

if you want to add jason johnson, here are his pitches:

4-seam

slider

change

(from foxsports.com)

other than that i can't seem to find any 'errors/mistakes'.

maybe 2 things:

- you could add a cutter, a slider and possibly a curve to lenny dinardo

- never saw a cutter nor a curve in a scouting report for mike timlin

i have to rely on things i read cuz i never saw a ballgame live, only on tv

really well done for the bosox ghostrider. keep it up. this mod's really appreciated, can't wait for the final release
