He's the best pitcher in Japan, and is going to get big dollars when he comes here this offseason. Not to mention the teams fighting for him have to pay huge money just to buy the bargaining rights. He has amazing stuff, and the best stuff in Japan no doubt about it. As far as being the best pitcher - that belongs to Koji Uehara. There is a huge difference from being the best pitcher and being the man with the best stuff. Matsuzaka will undoubtedly become the best pitcher within the next season or two, but lets not mislabel him.
