Totte Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 I have a few Stance changes for the Phillies that I want to get some feedback on. Here they are: Utley - I'd go with C. Jones here, because the Delgado stance seems a bit too low. In addition, Utley kind of wiggles the bat like Jones does so, it's much more accurate, IMO. Dellucci - Again, I'm going to say C. Jones here, because Dellucci has an open stance with the bat in almost the same position as Jones. The upright stance just doesn't look even close to me. Nunez - While crouched is okay, I think Renteria is a little closer because of the high bat and crouched base. Coste - If you have seen him play, Coste has this unorthadox stance which is a lot like Classic 1. It's hard to describe, but it is a lot like Classic 1. And also, a few pitching deliveries: White - From the stretch, Moyer is the closest to what he really throws like. The arm angle is wrong, but the whole motion is close to how he actually pitches. Mathieson - Style 6 is spot on here, because I do believe he throws overhand, but I'm not 100% sure. On a side note, I think Andre Ethier's stance needs to be changed to H. Matsui. Well, that's it for now. If everyone seems to agree with these, I could try and get some more stances/delieveries for other NL East teams or anybody else the Phillies will play before the end of the season. I forgot to add that Matt Smith was called (Sanches optioned to AAA) and has donned #40 for the Phils. skibz Posted August 28, 2006 Share Posted August 28, 2006 hey totte, in my opinion, i think josh beckett and julian tavarez should both have a glavine delivery. if you pitch with beckett in reverse view, they look quite similar. the way beckett winds up, he's got that smooth leg raise and both have slide steps from teh stretch. same with tavarez. hey totte, just wondering if you saw my suggestions and wanted to know what you thought. Tampa Bay claimed him as the Sox were trying to pass him through waivers to trade him to the O's so now they have to wait until after the season. The PTBNL hasn't been determined in the Conine trade yet though it is thought to be a AAA reliever. Teams have I think 6 months to trade the PTBNL to the other team. The only reason I'm asking this is because I was having a problem actually SEEING the new roster in the game, but since have installed several of your rosters without a problem. In your most recent, downloadable version of the roster, is Preston Wilson still with the Astros, and Jose Vizcaino is an FA? The only reason I ask, is that's how it is for the Cardinals, and I wanted to make sure that's just how it is, not me having issues installing again. EDIT: or anybody that might have the answer... not just Totte.
