XBOX One Controller Config Problem (FIXED)

I didn't want to start a new thread but the old config thread was archived.

 

I used to be able to use the XBOX One Controller (wired) for Windows flawlessly in MVP 2005. There was a config posted in the thread that worked great. But now the game completely ignores the config file and many of the buttons are messed up (for example, pressing down on the left joystick pauses the game, even though the config file does not instruct that at all).

 

If anyone knows what to do, or has a working XBOX One controller with MVP I'd love to hear it.

I fixed the issue. The XBOX One configs posted in the old thread had the incorrect value for "number_of_buttons". I fixed it to be 16, instead of 10. And now it works flawlessly again. Below should be the definitive config for the XBOX One Controller (wired).

THANK YOU!!  I know what thread you are talking about and I had the same issue with my Xbox controller until now.  I even went so far as to order an F310 controller on eBay for $5.  This is the definitive fix.
