Just out of curiosity, will you be doing another update with new drafted players like Jacoby Ellsbury or Craig Hansen?

If they aren't assigned to either Portland or Wilmington, he probably won't.

Only if they get promoted to Wilmington or above, and so far that hasn't happen. I will be putting out an update after the trade deadline, when all the moves are finished.

Hi! I'm not too skilled with MVP Edit and I don't want to risk messing up my game, even with my rosters backed up. Is there any way that you could make these files into .SAV files? Thanks and great job on the rosters!

Ya, I'll be putting out another roster in a day or so, just have to create Craig Hansen as he was promoted to Portland, and a few other minor moves.

Ok, well for some reason I cannot get mine to work, it doesn't even want to install, get an error message. I downloaded the proper version too from Glasses site.

is it a missing .dll error message? if it is google the .dll install it and then run mvpedit, there will be instructions on how to install the .dll on the site you download the .dll from

ok I am not sure if its a dll file

the message I get is;

Component 'TABCTL32.OXC' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

I saw that problem when I imported the .dat into MVPedit to make a mbe-file. Thie error occured when you imported files that had already been used in the game.

I sorted out what was causing mvpedit to not install I used google and yes I was missing a file in system32 so I have reinstalled the missing file and have now got MVPedit to work successfully now.

I am excited I will be able import the rosters, thanks guys!

Read the FAQ in the MVP 2005 General forum. You could have saved yourself, and others, some time if you had just read that. You'd have gotten your problem solved quicker, too.
