When I was setting proper pitch types on my Total Classics mods, I got them from a simulation game called Baseball Mogul: https://www.sportsmogul.com/baseballmogul.html It has a full database of players and their attributes (like pitch type) going all the way back to 1901. While the 2024 version is $39.99, previous versions are less and the 2021 and earlier versions are actually free! Since the Total Classics mods I work on are for older seasons, the copy of Baseball Mogul I got in 2007 still meets all my needs. For proper player rosters, I look at https://www.retrosheet.org and for jersey numbers, I look at https://www.baseball-almanac.com
