Understandable. It just sounded like you were making it definite that it was a Win10/illegal copy problem and that was the only reason.

Yes, but is that definite? I know guys were having trouble with TW 08 golf and definitely not using illegal copies. Let's not forget about M$ and early release bugs.

Thanks for the comments. You're right about Capps. I'll up him to 97 (meaning you can go 99-ish). As for Bour, you may be right but he's still not fully tested. With rookies I look at their splits and then adjust down until they show a proven track record. I've seen it go both ways. Of course, people can always make their own edits too.

I think the schedule updater already addresses #2. There are a couple of schedules out there that have 29 and 50 game schedules for #3.

Well, first off...don't rate the rosters below 5 stars (or any mod for that matter) because it's not working for you. Most everyone can get these (and other mods) to function properly. You need to give more information as to what you're adding them to. Did you install MVP 15? Are you simply trying to load them onto the basic MVP2005 game? Did you download the game or are you installing from disks? Did you add any other mods. Look around the site first.

Tyler Lyons should be corrected to a LH pitcher. Sean Doolittle was accidentally placed in the Mets Single A team and not Oakland's. Move him to Oakland's Single A team.

Seems like the individual threads are too long. Maybe limit it to 15 or so comments per page. Sounds nitpicky I know. But when guys continually quote 3 pictures in a row, just to say "nice", it lengthens the thread way too long.

Good deal. I never really mentioned that the edits and changes are all MLB focused. I already spend many hours doing what was indicated, so I'm not going to spend more time trying to get minor league rosters correct too. Besides if you've ever looked at minor league rosters, they typically ahve more than 25 players listed, so there's no telling who to keep and who to send down. Technically, you shouldn't have to load rosters that way. What I spelled out should work.

That's because you deleted 3 essential big files and the csv file. Right click and group by file type. Delete ONLY the 19 dat files and replace with this mod's files. You'll need to restore the other 4 files from your trash bin.

To those who may be having trouble installing with TiT; I split this zip into 2 zips of 60 files each and installed each separately. Worked like a charm. -
As we saw these in the thread....just fantastic, professional work!! Brilliant! Also, with the IDs placed in the trade deadline update, these should show up properly.

That should work. You did what I explained it seemed. I'm not sure where you are looking for the changes. If it's in an existing season/dynasty, they won't be there. Set up an exhibition game or go into the management area from the primary game menu to look at rosters. If you totally replaced those 19 files, the players have to be there.

You guys are not installing properly. Don't use TiT. Simply go to the roster directory (data/database subfolder), delete the 19 .dat files. Unzip this roster set to that location. (Don't try to overwrite). Also, if you have more than one install of MVP, make sure you're choosing the correct shortcut. Plus, new rosters will not show up in existing seasons/dynasties.

From a Tiger Woods Coursedownloads member: I would advise not upgrading to W10 right away. Let them work out the kinks first. I am a professional remote support (freelance) techie for Windows Operating Systems, I honestly know my stuff very well. I have advised everyone I know that since Windows 7 will receive Windows Updates until Jan 2020, there is no rush to get into a new operating system from Microsoft. IMHO, Microsoft is doing such a huge advertising campaign this time around they are making Windows users feel compelled to upgrade to Windows 10, just because it''s free. I have to install all new operating systems from Microsoft for consumers because I need to know how to repair, tweak and optimize the systems. I installed the W10 upgrade and was not impressed with the final version. To be candid, it''s still much easier for the average computer user to navigate Windows 7. In a few words: Windows 10 has too much junk in it in terms of the Start Menu/All Programs. Windows 7 has those two featues in excellently configured and everyone loves a helpful Start Button. I also believe Windows 7 to be the flagship Operating System from Microsoft since Windows XP. Last but not least, the old adage: "if it ain''t broken, don''t fix it."
