Using Scriptina Properly

For those of you who still love this font, here's how to use it properly with PS. I'm sure that Bama will translate this for GIMP :p

Make a new document about the size of a signature and type your text in Scriptina. I'm going to use 70px, but you'll probably use it a bit smaller. Also add a faux bold style to the text, which can be done by opening the Character pallette (top of the window, on the right side of the text options toolbar) and clicking the first icon (bold T) on the bottom of the palette window.

Right-click on the text layer and select 'Rasterize Type'. Set your foreground color to black (D), and go to Edit>Stroke. Use a 2px stroke (black) and choose the 'outside' option.

Then, right-click on the layer again and hit Blending Options. Give the text a Gradient Overlay and stroke it (within the blending options window, not Edit>Stroke) with 3-4px (use a gradient for this as well.
