I don't even know who he is! :)

I'm starting this thread in relation to something that has been discussed before in a number of ways: the lack of interaction, involvement and feedback of the "members" here. Here's what I mean. It seems that more than ever the amount of people coming to this site are being, in short, leeches. They check in on occasion to see the latest UL's, grab them, give no rating, no feedback; maybe on slight occasion, ask a question or complain about a feature, get feedback or a solution and then don't say anything back in terms of what worked or what didn't. My point is, to what end does this serve? I would assume that a majority of these people do not contribute any type of support for the site, so, in essence.... leeches. We know who's involved with the modding, involvement and contribution around here. So why not make the latest mods available to that group or at least timit the amount of DL's in a given time period unless further contribution is made. They do this on the TW course DL's site (actually you buy in for larger sized DL's if that's your choice). I think too many people who live on websites believe all of this stuff should always come free of charge.

My other wondering is who did the faces for Cespedes and Posey each have a purple hue to them. I think the features are on, but wondered if the hue can be easily changed?

Here ya go man. I think the attributes are pretty fair. Not sure how he'll look in game with a generic face, but.... I hope you know how to import with mvpedit. Addendum: there will be a version 3. Wade LeBlanc will be getting an overhaul. Cybers updated/corrected of course. And the Phillies won't look like a bunch of 1940's players with all of those high socks. Any other suggestions / tweaks / additions requests, let me know now. Olt, Mike.zip

I love all people equally. Seriously, thanks for the props. As far as these guys, they have a combined 24 games and 52 plate appearance together. I could see creating Olt though. Tell you what. Give me a day or so and I'll create an .mep that you can import to the roster and put him anywhere you want. But Profar is pretty much a flat out minor leaguer. Fair?

I think the problem with Machado for you is that Jogar has a different cyber number assign than what was assigned by Kyle (413), probably because Jogar had nothing to go by at the time of his release. Here is my Machado: As far as Carter, I did have the wrong cyber assigned to him. It should be 590 and not what I had. However on the official ID list his skin tone is wrong. It is listed as 2 and should probably be a 9 or 10. Please let me know of any others you may find and I'll release a version 3 if there is enough of a need. In the meantime, you can easily go into the attrib.dat (via wordpad) and manually change Chris Carter's cyber no. which is in the #10 slot. You have to watch as there is another Chris Carter on the AAA Braves. The Carter you want is actually on the A's and Sophomores team. You can tell what he is because his jersey nos. are 22 and 38 (see pic). Do the same for Machado as far as the cyber giving him the number that jogar has assigned (just redownload and unzip to see the jogar number.)

I put out a second version with a bunch of cyberface updates. Still wrong?

Glad it did.... let me know what you think. I would recommend keeping injuries and suspensions turned to off to help avoid freezing.

Are you unzipping to that location and overwriting the 19 .dat files that are in there or are you just resting the .rar file in that location. You need to overwrite.

For playing at the MVP level. Works best with BaseUp! Rosters and Pitch 6/Bat 4 camera in datafile (WS98 Batting View Datafile) that I tweaked (found here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7302) Also recommend the classic pitching mod (i.e., no pitch meter); as well as turning off all visual indicators except for catch circle.
